Smart street marketing is the practice knowledge from the field to make your marketing success. The method is quit different if comapred to convetional marketing based on academic science.

The knowledge is brought to the plan paper from the market. Start with proven empiric tactic and then arrange to be strategy than make the grand masterplan. It is quite different to the conventional marketing that started with masterplan and grand strategy and then separated to be a part of tactic.
In this way, what we do first in finding fact from the market. We adjust anything from the market and we need no academic matters. We much consider to feel what people feel. So the emotional is dominant not the itellectual. Then we can decide what kind product that really need by people and what method to distribute it. Grand strategy is disign by collecting small stuff of success and after it is recorded then can be arrange to be master plan. So anything is the result of practice before it brought to be a theoritical.

Another difference is that smart street marketing stress their effort to USP. The USP is not the unique sales positioning as in conventional one, but USP means unlimited advantage/ benefit, sensational offer, and powerful promise.

The competitiveness is selling based on USP will give more and more to the customers and surely it will make them happy and satisfied. Satisfaction is one of the goal in marketing or selling. If the product completed with USP as I stated above, I am sure that the product will be very very competitive.

While in convetional it stress to branding, positioning, and differenciacy.
But I see that both method has the similarity in trying to achieved their goal. The USP in smart street marketing is also devoleping its branding, positioning and difference. But the stress in this method is to the result oriented. It means that branding, differenciacy and positioning is a must package in smart street marketing. The it is transfered to the customer with unlimited benefit, sensational offer, and powerful promise.

Other differences between them, is that the research and marketing program is not separated. The marketing promotion is the input for the research marketing. It is the most important to make some innovation in the business. Because the street marketing will have better risk taker than the conventional marketing.

If we compare between them, which one is the best, I am sure both of them is fine, but what we need is to make is synergy with the need of costumers.
